Using Language

Today I co-taught a class on Culturally Inclusive and Non-Violent Language. Here’s why this is important:

  2. I shared these words with my 10th graders yesterday. Generally, most of them glaze over when I’m up there; yesterday, they listened and even the more irreverent ones didn’t say something nasty to cut the mood. I’m going to return to it on Monday. Thank you for sharing this with us.
