Cats & Dogs

While I was having dinner this evening with a friend at Thai Nakorn it started pouring. California has been getting lots of rain—dangerous amounts in Southern California.

Numenius has gone to Baltimore for a meeting about the semantic web, so I’m watching cats and rain.

  1. Friends of mine used to have this huge tomcat with an attitude. It had been raining for it seemed like weeks, but he was meowing to go out so she opened the front door for him. He took a look at the rain and just hissed at it.

  2. Karen says she’ll welcome the cool weather and, yes, even the rain after 90+ degrees and 80+ humidity in Argentina!
