  2. I copied this from an April 2002 journal entry (I was taking a class at the time on Mexican poetry; the chant is a widely-used form in Nahutl). It says “Jackrabbit” at the top but I didn’t like that as a title for the poem—am still pondering. Thanks for the nudge.

  4. What big ears they have. Lovely images. Great. I think it’s hares in the (dis-)UK who have the big ears.
