Living Among Jackrabbits

jackrabbit wakes
jackrabbit peers jackrabbit hops jackrabbit hears jackrabbit leaps jackrabbit flies jackrabbit loves jackrabbit sighs jackrabbit flees jackrabbit hides jackrabbit sees jackrabbit’s alive- Nice poem. What’s it called?— Chris Clarke 26. January 2004, 15:43 Link
- I copied this from an April 2002 journal entry (I was taking a class at the time on Mexican poetry; the chant is a widely-used form in Nahutl). It says “Jackrabbit” at the top but I didn’t like that as a title for the poem—am still pondering. Thanks for the nudge.— Pica 27. January 2004, 03:18 Link
- Pica, I’m loving seeing your drawings! More! May they multiply like rabbits!— beth 27. January 2004, 17:46 Link
- What big ears they have. Lovely images. Great. I think it’s hares in the (dis-)UK who have the big ears.— Coup de Vent 31. January 2004, 13:03 Link
