Pre-Felting: Socks for a Giant

Slippers before felting I’m taking a woodworking class in order to be able to build simple things (like bluebird boxes or a cold frame for my tomatoes and peppers). Carpentry is not unlike knitting, bookmaking, or dressmaking. Cut or make the pieces and put them together. Adornments optional.

  2. Sounds like a bunch of fun! I look forward to seeing the finished felted socks.

  3. That sounds cool—I’ve always thought of taking a woodworking class, but I never seem to make time for it. Perhaps I’m a little afraid of power tools, but it seems like such a useful skill.
