Looking West: American Crows

crows, red ballpoint When what you have on your desk is a red ballpoint pen, it’s what you draw with. Even if the birds are really black. But they look like a valentine, somehow.

I am entering this as my contribution to Illustration Friday’s theme, “Choose.”

  4. We’ve had our crow populations hit hard by West Nile virus. I saw one the other day and was really happy. I’d be happy with a red one if I saw it! :)
