My name is Pica. I live in Davis, California and I have another blog, Feathers of Hope, which I keep with my partner Numenius, and which isn't primarily about sketching birds. I adore herons – they are gangly and graceful at the same time.
BTW, do you use watercolors, or water-soluble colored pencils?
Teresa: this one’s watercolor only. I might add colored pencil to it later. I don’t want to ruin it but it might add a bit of punch.
