  1. Oh, fabulous! I can’t wait to hear the podcast. And the self-portrait is lovely. I long to see more of your drawing and painting as well as the birds – I thought that when your did the wonderful Apocalypse work was on Qarrtsiluni.

I know how full your life is, though, with so much creativity already, and that you can’t do everything all at once.

  2. Thanks, Jean. I do end up drawing more than birds but don’t post much of it, because I figure enough’s enough, but some of my jackrabbits do end up on Facebook…

  4. Yes, it was fantastic to hear your voice and learn so much more about you! I enjoy your drawings, and this self-portrait, and would love to see more of your other work sometime…busy though you are!

  5. Maria — thank you! It was great chatting with Dave. Marja-Leena, some day we will make it up to Vancouver. I’m interested that you thought my accent was sort of “Spanish” on Dave’s site — I don’t think it should be, but it’s definitely a hybrid.

  6. It was wonderful hearing the podcast! AS always, I am impressed with how smart you are, Pica! Great observations on the oil spill which I can barely deal with emotionally. Your Great Aunt Frances would be so proud of you! You and she are birds of a feather, you know.
    Love to you…G
