Faultline's editor Chris Clarke is a veteran environmental journalist and editor, as well as an acclaimed nature writer. After stints as editor of Terrain and Earth Island Journal, he sojourned briefly into the dotcom world as Assignment Editor at verde.com, an environmental news portal that was, sadly, doomed. Since then, he's written and edited a bunch of stuff, including a garden column for the Contra Costa Times. In 2002, he returned to the Earth Island Journal as its editor. He lives in Pinole.
