GeoURL tags are meta tags added to a webpage giving the latitude and longitude of the website. There is a database storing coordinates of
GeoURL-tagged sites at
http://geourl.org/. One interesting use of this mechanism is the
[World as A Blog] site which highlights the location of new weblog posts on a world map.
